Mountain View Baptist Church held it's first service on February 23, 2003 at the Dennis Earl Elementary School in Turlock Ca.

In December of 2006 all services were moved to a historic church building at 3710 Roeding Road, Ceres Ca 95307. Since moving we have seen the Lord provide for remodeling and renovation of this building.

On Aug 26 2007 Lighthouse Baptist and Mountain View Baptist merged to form one congregation which meets at 1516 Carver Road Modesto CA.

Mountain View Baptist Church continues to be a Bible Believing Baptist Church that is unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the truth of the Scriptures.

Some of our ministries:
Community outreach with door to door evangelism.
Individual and family discipleship.
Monthly services held at the Stanislaus County Juvenile Hall.
Gospel tract distribution at local fairs and flea markets.
Monthly services held at the US Penitentiary in Atwater CA.
Missionaries supported in the following countries:
Fiji Islands, Panama, Costa Rica, Philippines, Mexico, Madagascar, Honduras,
Zambia, Estonia
Numerous home mission projects in the United States
